Jacksonville, FL – Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida is proud to welcome Two Piano Journey for a benefit recital Saturday, September 17 at Friday Musicale, 645 Oak St, Jacksonville, FL.
Attendees can purchase tickets online at the official event page. The performance starts at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a reception with light refreshments.
“This event will serve as an opportunity to enjoy an evening of music together while supporting the LSS mission,” LSS President and CEO Bill Brim said. “The performance will be a first of its kind for our organization, and we’re excited to offer the experience to the community.”
All fundraising proceeds will go to LSS’s mission of giving hope and a fresh start to those in need in our community.
Mother and son two-piano team Michelle and Christopher Kuo, founders of Two Piano Journey, will perform classical favorites for LSS as part of their mission to make the world a better place.
They are currently on a benefit concert tour, raising money for nonprofits in the hunger-relief, education, and social service sectors. In collaboration with many inspiring philanthropic organizations, they have helped raise more than $1,800,000 for social causes.
“LSS has been rapidly growing to address simultaneous refugee crises, in addition to realizing its vision of being a one-stop shop for social services for the city of Jacksonville,” Chris Kuo said. “I am honored to serve such a worthy cause alongside some of the best people I’ve ever met in the nonprofit sector.”
