Ayad Shamsaldin put his life on the line as an interpreter and soldier in Iraq fighting for the United States. He is now living in the U.S. helping refugees like himself adapt to life in America as a case manager at Lutheran Social Services. He recently spoke with First Coast News reporter Monica Garcia about the impact an executive order from President Trump may have on his family still living in Iraq as they seek refuge in America.
