Circle of Welcome Info Session

Join us for an informative online session about the Circle of Welcome, a co-sponsorship program that invites the community to engage in Lutheran Social Services' mission of welcoming newcomers. This program offers a unique opportunity for local community groups to form a special relationship with a refugee family and support their journey in the U.S.

As Co-Sponsors, community groups collaborate with Lutheran Social Services to walk alongside a refugee family for six months, serving as community guides and friends. This partnership fosters meaningful connections and provides essential support during the family's resettlement process.

During this session, you'll learn about:

• The structure and goals of the Circle of Welcome program
• The roles and responsibilities of Co-Sponsors
• The impact of your involvement on refugee families and the community
• How to form and join a Co-Sponsorship team

The Co-Sponsorship team consists of at least 6-10 core members, with additional support team members welcomed. Whether you’re interested in being part of a core team or offering additional support, this session will provide all the information you need to get started.
