Offering Hope to the Hungry
Hunger relief has been the cornerstone of our mission since 1979, and now we are seeing more need than ever before. Our Hunger Relief programs include:
Current pantry hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Jacksonville Humane Society's pet food bank is now located at LSS. Visitors in need of food for their furry friends can also request pet food, in addition to food provided at the LSS Food Pantry. This is made possible through a partnership with the Jacksonville Humane Society. Visit the JHS pet help page to learn more.
*Please Note: Pet food is provided based on availability*
As of October 1st, the LSS Food Pantry requires appointments.
The LSS Hunger Relief program is made possible by generous support from the City of Jacksonville, United Way of Northeast Florida, Feeding Northeast Florida, and Del Webb Ponte Vedra.
Donate Food to the Pantry
Due to an increased demand, food supplies at the LSS Food Pantry are low. We’re asking the community to help us keep the pantry open to those in need of food.

POUNDS OF FOOD DISTRIBUTED
No matter how many extra shifts my husband worked, we just still couldn’t cover our expenses for our three children. That’s when we turned to the LSS Hunger Relief program. The food we received took a major pressure off our shoulders and allowed me to put more energy into finding a job to help our family get out of this situation. We are so thankful that the LSS Food Pantry program was there to provide us with one in our greatest time of need.
Brenda Espinet, former LSS Food Pantry client
