Three Lutheran Social Services programs were each awarded $150,000 by the City of Jacksonville’s Public Service Grant Council for 2023.
On November 15, the PSG Council voted to finalize the awards, which include grants for the LSS Nourishment Network food pantry, case management for Representative Payee Services, and Steps 2 Success. The LSS programs are three of 50 different programs to receive the funding.
This year, the PSG funding cap was raised from $3.5 million to $6 million, according to reporting from the Florida Times-Union.
