Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida (LSS) is excited to announce its Grand Re-Opening on March 6th, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Located at 4615 Philips Highway, Jacksonville, Florida, the event offers attendees a rare opportunity to explore the world of LSS, its onsite nonprofit partners, and the services we collectively provided to 90,000 individuals in need last year.
The event will commence with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by remarks from LSS CEO, Bill Brim, and special guest speaker Tracye Polson, Director of Strategic Partnerships with the Office of Mayor Donna Deegan. Attendees will then embark on a self-guided tour of the newly renovated facilities, each equipped with an "LSS Passport'' to guide them through the journey.
Throughout the tour, guests will have the opportunity to learn more about onsite partners at LSS: CAN Community Health, WeCareJax, JaxCareConnect, and Vision is Priceless. Guests who collect all of the stamps in their passports will be entered for a chance to win a prize.
Light refreshments will be served, providing an opportunity for networking with LSS staff, volunteers, and community members.
Media representatives are invited to join us for this event. Discover the world of LSS firsthand and share in our excitement as we showcase the transformative impact of our work.
